Handy tips:
- For ideal repelling results, allow the product to take effect by lighting the candle at least 15 minutes before using.
- The Mortein Outdoor Mosquito Lantern works to cover the average size entertaining/deck area (5mx5m). For larger areas use two or more Mortein Outdoor Mosquito Lanterns.
- Best performance will be obtained in outdoor areas with minimal breeze such as courtyards, decks and patios.
How to use:
1.
Open the drawer of the lantern.
2.
Remove the pad from the sachet. Hold pad by the edges to minimise contact.
3.
Carefully place pad over locating pin in the centre of the metal tray and close the drawer.
4.
Open lantern door and secure candle holder onto base.
5.
Before lighting place the lantern onto a flat stable surface near where protection from mosquitoes is required.
6.
Light candle, close the lantern door and wash hands.
After 4 hours of use, the candle releases a floral fragrance telling you that it’s time to change the pad. The pad also turns white/brown when exhausted. Change both pad and candle at the same time. Allow the lantern to cool before changing the pad.
If you want to stop the lantern before 4 hours, carefully open the door and simply blow out flame and store the lantern inside, out of sunlight. On re-lighting the candle, the pad will continue to release repellent.
Avoid touching the top of the lantern as it can get hot.
