Rat Kill Throwpacks

Rat Kill Throwpacks

If you have a rodent control problem but no time for baits, throwpacks are a handy solution. Designed as single sachets to be tossed wherever needed, they’re especially useful in hard-to-reach areas that rats and mice tend to haunt.

For best results, eliminate as many alternative food sources as possible from the area(s) that need treatment. Do not open the sachets — simply toss them unopened into areas where rats or mice are active. Follow the specific instructions below for each rodent.

For rats, use two to four sachets per placement, no more than 9m apart.

Use one sachet per placement for mice. Larger placements (two to three sachets) may be needed at points of very high mouse activity and not more than 3m apart.

Most deaths occur 4 to 7 days after consumption, so continue baiting for at least 2 weeks or until there are no more signs of rat or mouse activity. Ensure fresh bait is available at all times and replace spoiled bait immediately. Any unused baits can be removed after rodent activity has ended, but repeat the treatment if they return.

What it does

The smell of the rat poison inside the sachet attracts rodents, luring them to chew through it and consume its contents. Just a single feed from the bait inside will kill the rat or mouse.

Benefits

Throw the packets wherever they’re needed and it’s curtains for rats and mice.

Where to use

Select areas for use based on where rats and mice are most likely to find and consume the bait—typically along walls, in corners and concealed spaces such as the roof, under floorboards and in garages and sheds. A special bittering agent helps to prevent accidental consumption by children, but take care to position the packs as far away as possible from family and pet areas.

How to use

the area(s) that need treatment. Do not open the sachets, simply toss them unopened into
